Position: Sr. Core Network Consultant

 

Responsibilities:

·   Focal point of contact for IMS launch project.

·   Troubleshooting & Resolution of faults in CS/PS Core Network.

·   VPN Tunnels configurations at OSS Firewalls.

·   Data Traffic monitoring towards ISPs, Blackberry and performing load balancing.

·   Participated in the evaluation of Core Network LTE vendor selection.

·   Finalization of the annual core network budget and long term network architecture forecast considering the input from marketing department.

·   Capacity planning of MSS/MGW, USN/UGW & HSS.

·   Preparation/ finalization of Disaster Recovery Plan (suggesting the network design changes if needed) for CS and PS Core and submission to the senior management.

·   Focal point of contact for Enterprise Log Management project to develop solution for critical NE’s log monitoring (special project assigned by VIVA CTO).

·   Working as PMO office representative, meeting with the teams/managers of departments inside the VIVA Technology sector, understanding the process, procedures and documenting them.

·   Preparation of the Business Processes (including Responsibility Matrices, RACI, …) along with the Business Process consultants in order to get the ISO Certification.

·   Development of processes and procedures flow charts and getting agreements from all the stakeholders.

Position: VoIP Network Engineer

 

Responsibilities:

·   Database management of T-Systems VoIP Test System.

·   SIP protocol in depth study and analysis of SIP call traces using Wireshark.

·   Hands on experience of Linux based VoIP System which including different SIP scenarios, new accounts creation in the SIP DB (SQL DB) etc.

·   Active participation in Astra Simulator Design project. Radius Protocol and its AAA transaction were mainly used in this project.

·   Creation and deletion of new accounts in T-Systems VoIP Test System writing the VPC test scripts.

·   Verification of the MSC/HLR plans, Commissioning, Integration, Acceptance and Troubleshooting of SR12 MSC5 Sana’a with integrated HLR.

·   Verification and Correction of DB received from the planning for MSC5.

·   SSNC and LTG Expansions of 4 Siemens D900 MSCs in Yemen.

·   Troubleshooting of SND problems using FITT Tool.

Position: Senior Executive Engineer / Team Leader

Responsibilities:

·   Leading the team of 10 core network engineers.

·   Management of the Team Members, managing their shifts and tasks.

·   Hiring & Training of new engineers within Core Network Department.
